I was going to start this with a funny little affectation we could turn into a running joke, but I think we need a little time to warm up before we’re committing like that. If you’re wondering why you’re seeing this, it’s because you joined my book club - but now we find ourselves here in my new newsletter: Not Your Friend.

I have so many things to say to you, and I’m going to say them all - because I’m not your friend. But I am very funny, and I do have your best interests at heart. Promise.

I can’t promise you’ll love it more than the book club, if that was your thing. But if you decide to stick around, I can promise you weekly drops of good advice, bad jokes, a peek into my shopping cart and psyche, and maybe even a guest star or two.
